A second article by a Pilgrims Intelligence Analyst, looking at an issue that has recently been in the news, has been accepted for publication by the prestigious Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), an independent think tank that prides itself on careful reflection on defence and security matters.

The RUSI article, written by Alex Maciag of Pilgrims Risk and Information Services, assesses the key political and economic implications of Germany’s approval for the construction of Nord Stream ll, the contentious underwater pipeline connecting Russian gas supplies with Western Europe.

US President Donald Trump’s criticism of the project has recently been widely reported this month, as he has travelled to meet European leaders.

The full content of the article is available via this link to all RUSI members.
