We know that the threat of a terrorist attack is very high and a major incident could happen anywhere and at any time.  While most businesses understand that they must have policies and procedures in place to prepare for certain risks, many are less sure of exactly how to enable staff to feel safe and confident in what to do, should the worst happen.

In response to our clients’ requests, Pilgrims Group has been developing and extending its ‘Is a Terrorist Threat Imminent?’ campaign to deliver training that will instill confidence and empowerment to your staff.

Pilgrims COO, David Freear, explains: “These are worrying times when it is easy to feel that there is nothing we can do but, in fact, there is a great deal. Our training sessions are designed for those who attend to come away with a clear understanding of what to expect in the face of a terrorist incident, including the roles of the police and emergency services; what measures they might take to keep themselves safe and how preparedness means they can be confident about their own employer’s emergency planning procedures.  The aim is for staff to focus on their day to day work, feeling safer and less worried, which has to be good for business.“

Pilgrims can easily set up bespoke sessions for groups of employees - over an extended lunch time for instance, to deal with their concerns of worries.
